Definitely a first for me. I never had the chance to dress up for Halloween. So this time round, I got really excited about. Not just about the event itself, but also being part of the whole event. Its fun cause everybody was so serious about dressing up for the event that I kinda felt like I was underdress. I was going for a goth-vampire-ish ju-on-ish look, and I thought I made my eyebags looks pretty realistic. Ha.

Because of the whole look I was going for, I try to be emotionless in most of the photos. The walk was awesome. But the night was.... just so tragic. Its like Katy Perry's Last Friday Night all over again. Definitely will control myself and not be so crazy with the drinks any more.

Most of the products inside my concealerholic was almost done cept' for eyebright. So I took it out from the box and put it in a smaller case.

Its very liberating for me to see pan on a product. A sense of accomplishment comes after finishing the product. Plus, I have this pet peeve of finishing one product before I can open a new one. So I only really have at most 2 each of every genre of make up. I stock up on a lot of back ups though. Ha. I just don't open them.

What do people do with finished makeup? I'm curious. I'm in between chucking it out and keeping it. Definitely keeping my mac lipstick for B2M. But.... what should I do with the others? Its actually really hard to throw away makeup away. You start to get attached with it after all these years. Ha.

This is me with my very very low resolution laptop cammy, waiting for the time to pass and bbm-ing at the same time. And yes, I am with bangs again. Stress caught up with me the other day and I just had to chop the fringe off. Mid autumn festival today. Gonna go over to a friend's aunt's place for din din and I can't wait. Home cook food at last. Hiak hiak. Plus, its hong kong style. OMGOSH. Salivating like mad. Haven't eaten the whole day, like literally, so imagine my tummy growling like mad.

Going back to Singapore 2 weeks later. Life is awesome for now.

One of the rare nights that I went to party. Like a real party in the club. I seldom club. Really. I'm more of a drinks with friends in a bar kind of girl. But sometimes, I really just want to let my hair down and just relax for a bit. The place we went was "supposedly" good. But.... from my experience, I have to give it a thumbs down. It sucks. The place was sectioned into top floor and the ground floor. Ground floor features live band and football match and the top floor has a billiard room and a dance floor. I hate to say it, but the top floor smells like stinky feet. It sucks a lot. Thank god, the dance floor was better. Ha.

Highlight of the day would probably be getting hit on ALOT of times. Okay, the guys got hit on a lot of times. The girls, heh, just stick with each other like momma team. Drinks was cheap, like 3 bucks cheap, so that was a good thing.

I'm official 21. For my 21, I wish for wisdom. Wisdom to knowing what people are thinking, wisdom in the art of social skills, wisdom in academic work. For my 21, I wish for happiness. To be happy regardless of whether I'm with someone or not. To be happy to just spend time with myself. For my 21, I wish for the hunger to learn, the hunger to take in knowledge. To be able to think on my feet. To be able to answer to myself. Its official. I am 21.

Being 21 hasn't been what I imagine since young. I thought, when I would be 21, I would be like cinderella. Being swept away by my very own prince charming and live happily ever after. Note, this is when I was 7. After primary education, I started to see things in a different way. There is no more prince charming. There is just GUYS with thorns. Guys who would hurt you if you're not careful. So I put on an invisible armour around myself for protection. Till now, I'm still terrified by the thought of getting hurt. So much for being an adult huh. But I will stronger. The each day that pass by would be the the each pixel in me that would grow stronger. Its official. I am 21.

Being where am I now, I am grateful. Grateful for the friends that I have around me, grateful for the family that I have. Grateful for being on this earth this moment. There will be times that I tumble and fall. But I'm grateful that I know I will always have someone who would catch me when I fall. I'm grateful for you guys out there. You guys, mean the world to me. Every single individual that walk past my life, you guys gave meaning to my life. I am grateful. Thank you all the BFFs that I have. I am not a good friend. But thank you for standing by me when I need you. Thank you for just remembering that I was in your life before. For all this, I am grateful. Its official. I am 21.

Hello guys, how are you doing? Meet my new toy. My orange headphones. Heh. I just got it today. Reason? Mainly because I got sick of wearing earphones and, my ears kinda hurt now with all those friction going on inside the ear.

These headphones came in 4 colours. Normally I would go for the black and red colour combination because I'm such a sucker for red. But I wanted a fresh colour for a change thus, this chocolate with orange combination. Y'know, I used to think that headphones are so overrated, I normally go for cheap-o earphones that cost no more than 20 bucks. So for me to splurge and pay 70 AUD for it is normally unheard of. But, I thought since its finals, I wanted to just treat myself a bit. My earphone's normal lifespan is about 3 months, crossing my fingers that this would last me say.. at least 1 year?

Hello. These two buddies accompanied me for the late afternoon in school. Nearly forgot the hand up my assignment today which is always a bother. Thank god I already had it done long ago, if not I could kiss my grades goodbye.

I can't wait to go on a holiday. To anywhere is good enough. But the thing is, I wish I know where I'm going. Seriously. I hear of all my friends' holiday trips and I envy. One of them is going to the Gold Coast+ Adelaide+ Sydney + skiing in Melbourne. Sighhh. Holidays. I kinda feel like finding a job as well. Been snooping around some forums. So the plan is, after my finals, I would start to send in resumes and see whether people are willing to hire me.

I find people who could work and study at the same time to be really capable. I feel like dying even though I'm just going through full time studies. I give my applause to people who could juggle both at the same time.

My skin been really terrible lately. Well, to be exact, ever since I got back to Brissy. I doubt its the weather though. I blame it on my irregular sleeping habits nowadays. I feel like trying out other skincare line/products that the internet world has been raving for quite some time.

This was the brand which my decade long bestfriend been raving about. She has been going on and on trying to convince me to try their product and I trust her cause she is currently in the beauty industry + she's my bestfriend. So, she never wants the worse for me.

Thus, bringing me to a dilemma. Mario Badescu VS. Demalogica. Both of which has really good reviews and both around the same price range. Acne/Pimples/Blemishes or whatever you want to call them has always been a problem for me ever since puberty started. I used to think that I had really good skin (that was ofcourse when I was in primary school), and I always told my mom how smooth my skin is. Then BOOM! Puberty hits and things were never the same again.

I've used quite a lot of different brands ranging from drugstore to counter brands but I never really found one that has really cleared my skin up. Currently using the laneige sensitive skin range, and HONESTLY SPEAKING, IT DOES NOT HELP ME IN ANYWAY AT ALL. Thus, the huge desire to switch my skincare regime.

However, the thing about reading reviews up in the internet is that... products get overhyped so much that, its hard to tell whether people are just following the hype and saying that its FANTASTIC or, does the product really live up to the hype. That was what happened when I tried Laneige. Everyone was raving about how laneige is good for asian skin types and all. But truth to be told, their products stings the hell out of me, and I hate it. It was only later that I was told that I was using their normal skincare line(the one in the blue bottle) and it contains alcohol. With my sensitive + oily + acne-prone skin condition, it just aggravates my pimples:( My mom helped me buy the products, so I wasn't there with her when the stuff was bought. Thus, not blaming anyone for it because I wasn't present and no one is really sure how was my skin condition. Before using Laneige, my acne was concentrated on the cheek area, but now..... it has spread all over the face, little bumps on my forehead(which never happen even when I had really thick bangs) , and tons and tons and scaring at my chin area. Sighhh. Just adding a disclaimer here that: I'm not trying to bash Laneige in any other way, their skincare range just doesn't seem to be working for me, that's all. However I do love their cleansing oil. Their Cleansing Oil Make Up Remover is great and I cannot rave enough of it. It takes off my waterproof make up really fast and this is really awesome for someone who just wants to be tug in bed after getting back home.

Shopping keeps me sane.

I did a little shopping today. The shops at my mall was having some sale. So I picked up a few items. Everything total up to just a lil over 30 bucks.
I can't wait to use the harajuku perfume in BABY soonish. BUT, yes the big but. I have this pet peeve of finishing one item before I open another. And since my DKNY be delicious perfume and lola by Marc Jacobs are still going strong, I doubt I'll be seeing BABY any time soon on my vanity.

The second most exciting item is the pair of sunnies I acquire from cotton on. Good o' cotton on I must add. It was gg for 2 for 20 dollars, so me and my friend each got one. I adore adore the prints on the side. Yes, I know winter is coming. But hey, nothing's too cold for sunny brissy hey:)

I skipped school today, thus deciding to pay a visit back to blogger. Haven't been blogging as much as I thought I would when I first came back from Singapore 3 months ago. I've just been really lazy. Suppose to have a long school day today, but the lazy bug just got the better of me. Finals in a few weeks time, and I'm not even prepared for any of the courses yet. Gotta pull up my socks and get some studying going on I guess? It bores me to read bout how people are "mugging" so as to speak and all, thus, I won't bore you(hello, non-existent crowd) bout how I'm gonna study or am I even studying.

Haven't been on facebook lately. Yes again, the lazy bug got the better of me. so darn lazy to read all the news feed and all I guess? Sometimes, I wished technology wasn't ever invented, no, not making any sense at all here. Simply spoken, sometimes.. just sometimes, I wished technology hasn't advanced at such rapid speed. Sometimes I wished we're still studying via the use of papers instead of staring into the big screen. I know its oh-so un-environmentally and all but sometimes I feel like I'm losing touch with reality using all these "gadgets" so to speak of. Sometimes, I wished that iphones/blackberry/androids were never invented, just so that I won't be obliged to reply every single message. Right... that sounds a tad hostile, as if I'm trying to close myself up in a bubble and never talk at all to a single soul. But that isn't what I'm trying to get to. ANYOTHERWAYS, I still appreciate technology.. I guess? I can't deny that BBM/Whatsapp has become part of my life. So, I shan't complain any more.

Last friday, a couple of friends and I set off from brisbane city over to Byron Bay at 2.30am to catch the sunrise. We reached fairly early, so we waited for an hour before leaving the car and going up to the lighthouse. Damn it was cold. Plus, it was raining, so.. unfortunately, we didn't manage to catch a glimpse of the "magical moment" where to the sun peeks out from under the sea and come out to say hello. Clouds were all over the sun and we could only sense the sky become brighter and brighter. Before we know it, the sun was already up. Sighhh. Nevertheless, we got to see a rainbow, so *thumbs up*. No photos, because... I'm lazy. :'(

Tried Putt-Putt for the first time as well. Putt-Putt is like mini golf and you go through 18 holes etc. So they have like different backdrops for different holes, and the difficulty levels differ as well.

Its actually pretty amazing how when you take a look at your primary school friends facebook and you realise that, they are also growing up just like I am. Its weird. One moment they are childish little guys, and now... most of them(or in my case, all of them) are taller than you, and well they are also.... growing up, I guess. Its weird. PERIOD.

Yesterday, I finally tried my hands on the wii. Dang its fun. My arms still sore from the boxing match though. Haha. I swear you could lose a few kilos on that thing. Does anybody feels the same way as I do? Ha. Okay, I'm addressing to a non-existent crowd here, but I have no idea how to phrase it, so I'll leave it as that. Do you guys feel the same way? Like when you're so used to hanging out as a group of friends, that suddenly it feels weird when its only the two of you left? I.AM.NOT.MAKING.ANY.SENSE.

Heh, I mad love this mirrored sunglasses heh. So much that I want to add more ray ban to the family. Ha. Been growing my fringe out and there's a couple of mixed comments bout whether I should have bangs or not. Heh. Idk, I find it pretty awesome that I don't have to care bout my fringe being straight or not for the next day, I just pull it up and that's that.

Yawns, tired max+I smell like a dog now, and idk why. Think its the vaseline??? But sho strange! -.- I even bathed twice already and the smell still lingers. Maybe I should drown myself with perfume. Heee, first update ever since I came back to Brisbane. Almost 1 month since I'm back, but it feels even longer than that. The weather's been good. Pretty cooling these few days, summer's prolly leaving real soon.

Mid semester is coming up in a few weeks time and I feel so unprepared for it. Had to sit for all four courses which kinda sucks. 10-20 hours of recorded lecture to go through today. Heh. Doubt I can finish all of them in one go. But I'll just go ahead and look at what I need to go through my assignments and what's not.

Haven't been going places this month. The most was to the city and sunnybank. Omg, such a homer. Like homer simpsons. Haha.

It kinda just hit me that, next year I'll be in my third year, and most of my friends would be graduating soon. Dead. Soooooo dead. Haha. Because I'm in a four year course, I'll generally graduate one year later than most of the other peeps. So I'll be a true blue loner soonish. Ha.

Sighhh, so anyway, went for some karaoke session with some friends on the weekend. All from hk=canto songs. Lol. But to be honest, they sing REALLY good, heh, super impressed to the max! Went over to their place to make green tea pancakes, then 2.90 porridge at midnight. Heh.

Kkk, anyway, I'm kinda on this one day one meal diet. And I think I'm starting to see some effects in it. The only problem now is whether I can continue with this or not. I've gained so much weight gg back to sg that is CRAZY!!! Still trying to shed off the weight I've gain. Criessss. Sigh, was having a talk with nick, who is a muscle obsessed skinny guy. Lol. This is how the conversation went.

Long since I've been here. I will not start the crap of how I miss the site and whats not. Just an update on my wants... that is FULFILLED. Bahahahaha.

Gotta love my friends and facebook. Acquired the naked palette through this girl who added me on fb, being a kpo, I went to her site through her info page and I found myself staring at THE NAKED PALETTE. Well, I bought it at a higher price though, 90 freaking bucks. But in my opinion, its all worth it. Plus, it fits perfectly into my marc by marc jacobs make up bag. So... whats there not to love about it.

Next item acquired was.... well, through a friend using facebook. LOL. Long story short, met him for lunch yesterday, got the case, immediately tore the packaging and put in on my BB. Major love.

I am 17 days from returning to Brisbane, and so not looking forward to it. Just chose my courses for this semester and arrange my timetable. Hopefully, I'll be able to snag the tute and contact timings that I've "meticulously" arranged.

Yes, the oh-so-very-famous naked palette. I've never want a make up so badly in my life. Totally regretted not asking Fel to get me one when she was there for the exclusive opening or whatsoever for it. Apparently Sephora got some more stocks back to Singapore. And it was like gone in a day? Went down to Great World City, Marina Bay Sands, Ion and Ngee Ann City to get it, but all I got was No no and more nos. Get my frustration? Sigh, I need this palette. Once I get it, I doubt I would need anymore for this year at least. Saw one online selling it for 90 bucks, when the retailing price for it was 73 bucks. Is it worth the price? Plus, I don't even now whether the seller can be trusted. Sigh. I hate dilemmas. Should I just take a leap in faith?

If only that Samuel goh is still contactable. When he ask whether I want him to get anything from BKK, the only thing I thought of was Tao Kae Neo. Oh why oh why is my mind filled with food. Totally regretted it. Now.... he's in BKK, and I won't be able to contact him for the next few days.

Haven't been to this space ever since I came back from Malaysia. Life has been good. Met up with loads of friends, and got to know new ones on the way. 2011 has been good as of now, minus-ing the flash floods that has been happening all around Queensland. I saw pictures of the crazy floods, and sat in my living room feeling pretty helpless. The university that I go to is flooded to the tippy top, and the place I stayed got cut off of electricity for 2 hours. Not very sure whether is there any loses to take in account. But what I heard from my housemates was that, our shoes all started having moulds because the weather's been pretty much a bitch. But since the flood has receded, the only thing to worry about is how Brisbane would actually recover from it. It'll be a long war. I wonder how does the Sunshine state looks like now.

Back from a mega holiday within a holiday. As people(yes you) would probably know, I'm actually having my summer holidays and I left for Malaysia for some family matters for the past few days. Going to Malaysia is awesome! Having most of my relatives in Malaysia, KL specifically, my family always head over to KL for the yearly Chinese New Year. My dad is a strict believer of traditions so we never skipped Chinese New Year EVER.

However, normally when I get to KL, I don't get the chance to walk around and see much of KL. The reason is mainly because my paternal side grandmother has always been a very protective elder over me always feeding me with stories of how this aunt got her handbag snatched, this cousin heard that this particular individual got kidnapped whilst taking a local cab. So yes, its saddening. The only thing that I really look forward in KL every year is probably when my cousin actually bring me out for shopping or movies or just to hang out.

This trip back has definitely open up my whole perception of the place. I told my aunt when we were in the car in the midst of the infamous car congestion that this is really the first time I find myself being really in KL. I must say, this trip back has really been a ultimate shopping spree. I spent like no tomorrow, mainly because my mom pays for everything. And this is probably one of the few times that she pays without grumbling too much. This 7 days shopping spree has apparently costed my mom $3000 ringgit, which I thought was quite reasonable seeing that I only brought 2 bags over to KL and coming back with 7 more. Thank god, my uncle and his family was coming in to Singapore for holidays, so me and my mom didn't need to lug the whole 9 bags full of goodies back on our own.

Ofcourse, this trip back hasn't always been for shopping. I finally get to bond with my cousins this time round. There are so many new additions to the family that I know nothing of(seeing that I only go for visiting every one year, I don't see much of them). Its sad when I have to re-introduce myself to my cousins everytime I get back. Its even more depressing when you see the cousins all playing together and you kinda stick out like a sore thumb because of how much older you are. FYI, I'm the oldest in my maternal side and the youngest in my paternal side. So see the age gap! My paternal side cousins who shares the same surname as me is at least 10 years older than me for heaven sake! Sighhh.

Went over to Sunway lagoon with 2 of my cousins during one of those days and had loads fun. Sunway lagoon was soooo much bigger when I came really young though. Over the years, it seem to have shrink so much!

Gonna skip the other pictures for next time. I had the joy of going to Marina Bay Sands the other day with my relatives and its really awesome! The infinity pool, the scenery, the night view, plus kickass professional cameras. I'm no camera expect, even my 12 year old cousin know more than me, given that his dad, my uncle is a professional director. So I'm really looking forward to how the photos look like.

Been back in Singapore for three days now. Yesterday was crazy, I bought so much stuff without even thinking much and it feels so good. I'm so much more happy to spend money over here in Singapore because its more or less my money that I'm spending unlike in Brisbane where I really try to save whenever I can because I'm practically feeding on my parent's money. I feel so guilty whenever I buy something in Brisbane. Sighh. I should really go find a job when I go back.

Met up with Amanda yesterday and the both of us looked so tired.

Heee. Plum wine. Totally suck at drinking. Just one small bottle of it shared between the two of us and we nearly died. Omgosh. Terrible terrible. Ha. This is why I can only drink at home.
Just got done with my computer systems paper. God was it fast paced. It was an open book examinations and I practically lugged 5 kgs worth of notes in the examinations hall, literally. At that moment I really wished the file have a ctrl f button that I coul find so that I could straightaway go to the pages I need.

There's a statistics paper tml. Came straight to the library after computer systems paper. I guess most people are probably done with their exams? The SSH library is like awesomely quiet and spacious. Its hard to resist the temptation to just walk up to one of those vacant computers( and I mean a lot of vacant one) and just sloth around surfing the net via highspeed cable. Inserts evil laugh. Its 5.50am, and yes I am still awake at this unearthly timing. I can hear the birds chirping and the sun peeking out from my curtains, and... I don't like it. I rather it still be night time so that I could have this impression that, THE night is still young. But well, winter is long gone. I was just blog hopping through a couple of friends blog. Those whom I've been pretty much acquainted with over the past years, but stopped visiting their blogs for no specific reasons. It was really quite a pleasant surprise to actually see them updating a post every now and then.

I realise, blogging really has its usefulness. You really could get updated with your fellow friend's life. Facebook is just a platform where people could flaunt about how many friends, how many parties, how many gatherings you could have in the whole week, at least.... I see it this way. But with blogs, people could actually express themselves, and... they are somehow clearer than twitter or fb statuses with no word limit etc. Well, I'm starting to take a closer look into twitter nowadays, ever since I've got my blackberry. But I never got into the habit of updating my twitter everyday. It was always the occasional "Hey kamerin! I'm gonna missed lecture, don't wait up" etc. Ha. I guess, the only person I social with on twitter was kamerin, given that I was his first follower. LOL. I totally witnessed him creating a twitter account over ECON1320 lecture. I remember he sulking during the break, saying how he doesn't actually have a follower for twitter, so I just decided to follow him anyways.

I can't wait for this semester to end. Ha. Oh, don't we all! When every new semester starts, we would be all hyped up about school and swear with your life, that you would mug through it with all your mighty old 20 years old heart could ever take. But well, throughout the semester, one would prolly end up with "Uh! I can't wait for this semester to end, yada yada."

I was just having this conversation with an old friend the other day. Among the various topics that we actually talked about in the short one hour break that I have. I got a question that really strucked me. The fact that I am is still single. Well, never attached for the last 20 years of my life. I have friends telling me bout their aunts who are still 30 and hasn't been in love before. Well, I actually see my future in those talks. Honestly speaking, I can't see myself in a relationship. Ofcourse I would daydream bout a handsome "prince" who would come my way some day. But its just so surreal and so fantasy-like that... its those kind of stuff that probably would just happen in my dreams, or those movies that I watched. Its just not real. I guess I really am a pessimist when it comes to the four letter word. I'm happy when I see my friends being in love and all. I believe in love for them, but well, the problem just lies with me I guess.

Well, these are just my random thoughts. I'm sleep deprived, water deprived and cake deprived. So don't mind me.

Went over to Ikea today for meatballs, hotdogs, and vanilla soft serve cone. Came back with a red table, kickass huge floral box and an apple scented candle. AND!! The woman finally won something from playing crossword! Haha. Its this game that gives you letters and you have to scratch the applicable words. If you manage to find more than 3 words or something, then you win some money, 3 words for $7, and 4 words for $12. She tried for like 5 times and she never won anything. Now, when she feels like giving up, she finally ended up with winning 4 words. Haha.

The two swaku us, never won anything before. So, we didn't know how to approach the person to claim the winnings. We ended up looking like two frightened mouse and squeaked " We won! " LOL.

Been very stoned practically the whole day. The house was in madness mood yesterday night. Everybody puked everywhere. I had to crawl to the toilet bowl and smell the gutter. I remember helping wendy changed into my baggy clothes before carrying her up to the bed to make a sleep. She was soooo goneeee! Today when I came back and asked her does she remember anything. She just gave me a blank face. Apparently her nose bled when she was bathing. LOL. Major major hangover for her apparently. I have no idea why, but I end up buying ciggies for them and earning 22 bucks on the way. Ha. The staff from 7-eleven was mocking at me when I was ordering cause my face was red hot chilli pepper red, I kid you not, the pictures do not lie. Ha. 1 bottle of tequila + 1 bottle of midori + 1 bottle of red wine(shiraz) + 1 bottle of rose = havoc.

The best thing is, I still had school the next day. Thank god I didn't end up with a headache and whats not.

Hello people. Its me again, trying to reinforce how many times I really need to get started with school work. The holidays has been so awesome that, even after 4 weeks of settling down, I'm not settled yet?

I had this maths assignment that was due at 4 pm today, and well, I only got to know bout it at 12pm. I freaked out during lecture at the thought that I might not be able to finish the assignment on time. Bad bad. That just shows that I shouldn't have skipped lectures on friday. Thank god, everything is done, and I managed to find Building 67.

This post serves as a promise to myself that I'll need to be more diligent in my school work and that I need to live a more healthy lifestyle. Like seriously! Might go for a swim on Saturday, then study a bit at the library. We'll see:D

Anyway, I was out over at Cairns for the weekend. And... Cairns is awesome! The great barrier reef is so awesome, and there's so much to take in. The sea life, the corals, the greenish blue sea! Plus, we did white water rafting and scuba diving when we were over there. Like funnn! Scuba diving is so awesome that I'm really having thoughts of taking the certified license course for diving nowwww!

My blog is so not interesting. Seriously. For a start, I really don't know what to type in this space anymore. I finally start to try out some features over at GIMP aka the free version of photoshop. And its actually pretty amazing. Ha. Obviously I'm a noobie. But well..

Anyways, just came back from supper over at Cybercity where congee is just $2.90. But well, we were so full from dinner that Vivian and I just sipped on Ice lemon tea while Nick devour his egg+beef somewhat combo. School has started for 2 weeks now, and honestly speaking, I have so much to catch up on. Need to really make full use of the spare time I have to stay in school to complete revision of I'll just end up a failure like the last semester.

I feel so indifferent, despite the fact that I'm now 20 and never going to be Nine TEEN again. The fact that the guards over at the casino still checks my id when I go in for dinner, and the fact that I still have to show my identifications when I'm at the wine shop, honestly doesn't make me feel much older. Ha.

The girls brought me to the zoo to celebrate my birthday this time round. And it was awesome.

If you haven't notice it yet. Awesome has just become the awesome-st word in my dictionary. Ha. I use it every time! Every now and then, when people asked me bout my hols, I'll be like. OH! IT WAS AWESOME! and so on.

The week has done me pretty good I guess. Ekka has just opened, and I'm still contemplating whether to go or not.

Ohoh, sidenote. The other day over at Stats lecture, Kamerin was like, shittt, I have to shave my hair off this Sunday. Its like a tradition over at his college. It actually sounds pretty cool in my opinion. So lets just see how the results turns out. Ha.

I am extremely lazy now. But well, since I had nothing to do and I don't feel like going for a shower. This is just a post to conclude the whole winter break.

At melbourne, we spent the end playing monopoly till well, I bankrupt.

The whole holidays is soooo fun! Got to know a lot of new friends and went to loads of new places. Melbourne, Canberra, Sydney and Gold Coast. HOW AWESOME RIGHT! I'm in love with Melbourne, seriously. Melbourne have like everything and the guys over there is so much more well dress than sunny brissy. But well. I'm not one to complain right.

After the whole holidays, I kinda got determine to actually go for exercise. Thus, the two of us went to sign up for fitness first. Just went to 2 sessions of personal training and I honestly, really want to die.

My awesome horse, Midnight. Midnight shits like a chocolate cake and pee like a fountain, plus, he eats like an ogre. He was eating for the whole horseriding trip. Pretty hard to handle him sometimes seriously. But well, who is to control him when he is only 5 years old right? The horse that Yii zhu had, which is.. Shannon was so tamed. Well, and she's 20 years old. I guess.. age really makes a difference for animals. Shannon looks so wise and all, while Midnight.... is well, handsome? Haha.

Went over to chill at Gold Coast after that.

Plus, thankyou Kevin for chauffeuring us around. Seriously.

I've been lazy. I know. I realise... blogging is like exercising. Once you break the consistency, its really hard to get back to the regime. Seriously. But well, I had super lotsa fun during the whole 12 days trip. Getting to know new friends and whats not. The whole trip clearly made me more healthy. I had three meals a day religiously and I wake up at 8 am every morning to go see new stuff;D And now, the trip's over, I'm still waking up relatively early, and starting to sleep earlier nowadays as well. Which, I conclude is a awesome thing.

Plus, I'm starting to make my own yoghurt nowadays which = save money + go to toilet for big business everyday!

Lastly, I've joined fitness first when I got back to Brisbane and tml I'm starting on my personal training. Gosh. Wish me luck. I tried the body attack class the other day and I nearly died. My stamina has officially gone way off the tracks, and this isn't a good thing, not when I'm turning 20 in a few weeks time.

Today was..... amazing!
Went over to Aurora tower and witness how high class some people can actually. Brisbane night view can actually be quite pretty. I was totally awestruck. We were at the 60th floor, and when I step inside, there were full length windows all over the living room, the lights that lighted up the city, lighted up the living room as well. It was really like stars up in the sky, well, in this case, the ground. I was too shy to take my camera out to take a picture though. Given that, the person who invited us to his house was someone that I just know.

Well, its basically something like that. The picture doesn't do it justice. You really have to be there to believe and take in the breath taking view. Seriously. Plus, the night scenery is so much more majestic.

I just had a new aim in life.
To be able to afford to stay in a place like that when I grow up:D

Well, putting this aside. Today, I met up with the fellow people that I would be going on a tour with over to Melbourne. The initial meet up when pretty okay. So I guess we'll have fun as a group over at Melbourne. We finally got most of our itinerary down, and I can't wait. We're going to see penguins upclose. Ride a vintage train. Going to a prison at night. BBQ over the beach. 2 MORE DAYSSSS!

Just got back from celebrating the end of exams with my big sis. Watched toy story3 and before that her mega shopping. Seriously. She just freaking spend 600 bucks in one night. Anyways, toy story 3 was super nice. It honestly brings back memories of me and my toys. I guess, its a movie that everyone can relate to. Finally got my memory card out of my camera, so here are some long overdue pictures. Pictures when maggie is still in Brisbane. Ha. And my first virgin trip to Three Monkeys! So excited to go there man. The crowd was crazy! The queue was sooooo long. But food was served pretty fast. Nachos were yummy at first. Untill....... it got a lil too much for 2 girls to finish. But I'm still happy with my pizza and the company I'm with. :D

Crazy long eye lashes that night. The thing that shocks me is that I only has mascara on that night. Shockarrrrr.

Its also the night where I received the "Love Exist" pin while I was buying Frozen yoghurt.

Vivian so pretty that day I feel so inferior beside her. Plus, she's like tall.

Then the next day we went over to Pancake Manor to send off Maggie. Where I got mock for my accent when I say caramel. Then waiter was like " Are you American? Cause you said Carameolllll. " And he ogled over my camera.

My lights flickering like crazy right now. Damn it, it just means one thing and one thing only. I need to change my light bulb real soon:( All the dead creepy crawly flies and whats not, ewwwwww. Well, but if you think about it in another direction, it might be, it just might be, wizards using my light as a portkey( Harry Potter reader) and transiting back from some Quidditch match or something. But well, dang dang.

I finally finished all my finals! More time to spend having fun! Finally. Ha. For the first day of holidays, I decided to clean and tidy up my closet, cut my fringe to bangs again, and pump my toilet. Ha. Yes, one bad thing bout living by yourself, you really have to do everything BY YOURSELF. More so if you have your own toilet. Ha.

Daddy's here! Just nice for Father's day. LOL. And me this girl have to go spoil it. We initially intend to just meet at the airport so i could just get some stuff that the PARENTS got for me. But I have to just nice go oversleep and met him late at the airport. So apparently, I caused my dad to miss his flight and stuff. Sounds damn familiar right? Haha. The missing flight fever is still spreading!!!! So daddy stayed another day in Brissy as there's only one flight to Papua New Guinea per day. OMG. This is the problem right now. I love it and hate it still. I hate the fact that I still can't use the phone because its locked to another network. I hate the fact that it scratched my sim card, and so i'm left with a phone that I couldn't use to call out and receive any calls AT ALL. But I still love it, because it has been a phone that I really wanted to get since last year. And my love for it remains the same even when the Bold2 came out. I like it because its so BIG. Haha. I just have this thing with big phones. It just looks more reliable to me I guess. Plus, I like the track ball. Ayeee.

Because of the scratched sim card, I'm having serious thoughts about signing for a contract right now. Why not right? Since I'll be staying at Brisbane for well 4 years. Hey, I won't be running anywhere! I'll be tied down here for 4 years! Might as well make the full use of it right? Ha. Still in the midst of thinking about it right now. I adore the outer wear, in fact i've been looking at it for the past 1 month. Seriuosly. I can't believe its thrifted. Why can't I find these kind of stuff at the OP store? Why does OP stores sound so enticing at Sydney, Perth and well, Melbourne. But well, I feel old for some reason. The fact that I'm adoring a look that comes from a high schooler when I'm an adult(gosh, i can't believe I'm saying this, but well, I am going 20. Damn it. I'm old. ) I wished I was so well dress when I was 16. I was a geek back then, and I'm still am.

I used to think that having contact lens at the age of 13 was cool. Haha. I used to think that having a fringe back then was cool. I used to think that being late was for the cool kids. And there's more "used to think" that comes from my teenage years. Ha. How geeky can I get right? Wait, can one who doesn't study be a geek? Oh well. Anyways, the mentalities all gone now. I am who I am. I've grown to realise that I don't need to act the part that I am not. I've never been part of the elite gang or... whatsoever gang do you call. But I know that I do have friends who I can count for always. I have to confess that I've never been really consistent in contacting any of you guys this semester. And I'm guilty of it. I'll try to change my living habits, come up with something interesting that I can share in my life. So that we could chat from dawn to night falls or well, something like that.

Tomorrow's my first paper, which.. starts at 5pm -ish. Yes in the evening. It'll be a busy week all along. With the accounting paper down, I'll still have to deal with my web coding assignment which is due the very next day. Then my dad's coming over again( he's transiting at Brisbane to go back to Papua New Guinea. And then, on the 19th I'm sitting for my Stats paper. Dang dang. I'm so dead with Stats. Seriously. Probability was fun and easy to understand. But Normal distribution curve? Kill me with the pelicans, seagulls and freaky fish seriously. Ha. If you think I'm speaking nonsense. Well, pelicans, seagulls, freaky fish are all terms that my lecturer used to somehow make stats more "fun". But well, its still so confusing all along.

Okay, I admit. I have a deprived childhood. I've never tried kinder surprise before, so no point even bringing kinder joy out. Honestly, speaking, I know I've kinda change, I guess, to... keeping more things to myself and not opening up to people as much. I fear change, but it happens evitably, and I couldn't change it. I wish I was different. Shit, does this sound very emo? I wanted this to sound more happy actually. Oh well.

2 more days to the Big F. Finals! First up, Accounting paper. Which I honestly haven't pay attention to any of the lectures at all. Crossing my fingers to get a GPA 4 man. Ha. Then will be meeting daddy for the second time on the 18th. Whoohoo. Hope he'll get something for me from BALI:D

Anyway, he gave me his BB the other day. But apparently, my BB have an attitude, so it scratched my sim and i couldn't use it anymore. Well, that just means i'll be disconnected from the telecommunications world for quite a bit. I didn't even realise it till yesterday night. No wonder my phone hasn't been ringing lately. God knows who called me and couldn't reach me right now. Ha. Thank god Samuel lend his skype to me or else I think I'll just give my mom a fright. She has been trying to reach me for quite some time... apparently. Ha. Dang dang. Thinking of whether to sign for a line right now. I don't want to change my number man. So troublesome to tell everyone the change. :( But well, in a way, i might be able to get my hands on a new phone with better plan deals. We'll see how things goes.

She has been one of my closest friends since I came to Australia. There's time when I really want to kill her, because she was really literally trying to kill me and there's time when she makes me feel like its worth it, for the way she treats me. Oh well, its just 4 weeks. I've been through 9 months of not having to see my friends from Singapore, what is 4 weeks right?

Hehe. Today is a great day. First up, I actually hang out with my dad. He came over my place to drop off all my stuff and then we went over to Indooroopilly so that I could actually show him the place I'm staying in and stuff. Daddy wanted to try out the train. Despite the fact that my dad's been coming over to Brisbane rather often last time, he had never once tried the train, so well, let him have a feel of it. Haha. Then we went over to his hotel at Stamford Plaza to just chill. Met a lot of my dad's colleague on the way. Boy, apparently, there's this trend for my dad's company to send their kids over to Brisbane to study. All the kids were there! In fact, the colleague who gave my dad a ride over to my place had 3 girls who's studying over at this boarding school, which is just opposite my place.

Maybe, that's one reason why I got send over to Brisbane. Ha.

Anyway, the father and daughter session ended with us having a buffet dinner over at this restaurant at Stamford hotel. The smoke salmon, lobster and crab was OMG delicious like don't know what seriously. I was in heaven. Haha, then we a full chocolate dessert. Haha.

Well, the thing is.... I rarely have a father and daughter session. Or should I say, I never really had one. The truth is, it has always been me and my mom, the two of us, and then it will be my dad, my mom and myself, when he's back from all the various places he has been in. So I never really had the chance to know who my dad really is. But today, I get to really talk to my dad face to face and well, everything went really well:D He even said I look good=slim down. Haha. That means, I didn't gain weight or anything. Which is a good thing. Ha.

Plus, my dad gave me his blackberry! Got me excited for quite a while. But in the end, the phone was locked to his telcom provider, so... I couldn't really get to use it. Damn it. Waste my excitement seriously. Ha. Nonetheless, I finally got my kate spade wallet, kinder surprise from fel(but sadly, expired already), and the Marc Jacobs Lola perfume from daddy. Haha. Speaking bout the perfume, it was actually a "sorry" gift that my dad had for me, cause he made me really mad the other day. Ha. It was a silly thing to be mad about, but... I just couldn't help it. But well, sometimes it's good to release a bit of temper.

I wish I have more self discipline. Seriously. Especially at times like this. I rather search the net aimlessly doing nothing concrete rather than sitting down and really get some studying going. I still have a report to churn out and well, readings to finish. And I've done nothing. Plus, my Menses just came to visit today. Feeling darn lazy. Tomorrow will be a day where I'll get nothing done as well. My dad's here in Brisbane, so I'm going to just head down to the city and meet him over at his hotel to have some quality father to daughter time before he goes back to Singapore. I can't wait. Plus, he brought over all the barangs barangs that I oh so anticipated since last year:D Happiness x12!

I'm sucha floral freak, that at times, I myself couldn't stand myself. But honestly, florals are just so pleasing to the eyes, ain't it? Ha. I want to change bits and pieces of my closet though. Its getting a lil bit on the boring side. Might just pay a visit to the nearby op-store someday to see what treasure can I find over there. :D In a way, destress from the examinations and what's not.

Oh, btw, I went to watch sex and the city2 the other day, and it was AWESOME! Samantha is damn epic. I wished I could have her guts any day. She's like this new-age woman who enjoys both of two worlds. I really have a tough time deciding who I like most though. They are all so different from each other, but at the same time, they just click! And omg, the clothes they dress themselves in. I squealed when I saw the middle eastern people unwrapping themselves from the black cloth they were in and out come Louis Vuitton 2010 Spring collection or something. Ha. The show have s many epic moments, be it on screen or off screen. You hear people shouting "Bitch!" when carrie aka Sarah Jessica Parker opened up her walk in closet, the huge range of Birkins and whats not. Ha. Oh oh! And people clapped when Samantha showed the Abu Dhabi people her golden-wrapped condoms. Hahahahaha. That was freaking funnaye! Its so entertaining both on screen and off screen, seriously. I can't stop raving about it when I finished the movie.

When exams end, I think I would just start watching season 1-6 of Sex and the City. Ha.

Finals are really coming. Like super soonish. Count myself lucky though. My exam schedule are evenly spread out and I end exams one day earlier than my housemate! That equals to me having fun when she still have to slog her heart out for exams. Hoho. I've more of less settled on what courses to do for the next semester. Probably, stats B, Business law and 2 more IT subjects or something. Ha. Can't believe I'm really finishing my first semester in Uni already. I still haven't settled down into thinking that I'm a University student yet, to be honest. Can you believe I'm a University Freshie as of this moment still? Haha. I know I've been saying this every week, especially to Kamerin, but I really can't wait for this semester to end and then I can start the next semester afresh. At least next semester.... I would have a better understanding of where I'm at. And I promise I'll study:D

My dad's coming over to visit me in brisbane whilst having a business conference or something. Say cool or what! Like what my dad would say, "you'll finally be getting all the barangs barangs that you oh so wanted since last year". Exactly! My shoes, my bags, my power plugs, my chocolates, my perfumes! And last but not least, my BB! Haha, I hope he remembers though. Am I like the last one who has a blackberry right now or what? It seems to me like, everyone, read my lips; E-v-e-r-y-o-n-e seems to have a blackberry nowadays. Haha. I also want!

Anyways, I just watched the iphone4 introduction on apple's website. Despite the fact that it looks box-ey to me. It seems.... quite egg-citing! Damn! I need an apple fanatic friend right now, so that when it arrives in Australia, I could touch it! Haha, and maybe do some facetime!

Anyways, I've been stalking girls in Australia via their blogs lately. But most of them were from Perth, Melbourne or Sydney. Why isn't there much Brisbane outfit bloggers around Brisbane man:( Sad face. Seee, if they were from Brisbane, it would have been so much easier to track down where they've got that top or that necklace or whatsoever, well, given that Brisbane just have so lil shopping options. Ha.

I'm rarely in the city nowadays. Since the move to Indooroopilly, I rarely find the need to run off to the city to get groceries(since we have one of the best shopping centres in brisbane just 10 mins from our house) hoho. Transportation is good and well, perfect for lazy people. I would cry if we're not apply to extend the lease next year man. Seriously. Who wouldn't?! When you can wake up much much later than your peers and get to school on time still. Plus! You get to reach home at record speed. Please please, let us keep our house and well, maybe reduce the rent too:D Heh. Okay, too much sidetracking.

I can't believe I spend my 1st June doing nothing. Nothing that is worth speaking of. Other than print screenings all the page that is needed for web design presentation tml. Dang dang. I still hold a resentment against presentation seriously. I hate presenting. Despite the fact that my tute has only 8 people or something. I still don't like it. I rather do more work than presenting man. Seriously. Can you believe I spent 10 days straight in Uni. I even went to uni for the weekends. Cooping myself with more computers and what's not. Ha. I feel like a total computer nerd. Just minus the fact that I'm not IT-efficient, then I'll be your perfect candidate.

I'm really feeling it right now. The last week of the school term. And then, it'll be swot vac. Then.. OMG. The Exams. I feel like its A levels all over again somehow. Wait, right. I didn't sit for A levels. Alright, so I feel like its promos all over again. The whole hype to study when you're totally not in the study mood. Urgh. I wish the semester would end right now and there'll be no more exams to be sit for.

I think I have this magnet that attracts people to ask me questions or something. Today, I decided to skip the afternoon lecture and came in later to have a study session with Vivian. And I JUST GOT TO HAVE A BUBBLE TEA CRAVING. So the two of us went over to indooroopilly shopping centre to get the drink. Decided to have it in the library instead, so i stuffed it inside my bag and took it out in the library. Then this girl came over to ask whether its available in uni. Ha. And the other time, some random group of girls commented on my shoes, saying that its berry berry nice. Ofcourse I'm happy. I wanted to fake it and say its from Sportsgirl, but decided not to, cause... its like freaking 100yuan in china. So I humbly said that its from overseas. Haha, make it sound more atas somehow. :P Well, at least I didn't lie right? Btw, the shoes(a similar kind but of different shade) was selling at sportsgirl for like 180 AUD or something. Ha. I love cheap buys. In fact, who doesn't right?

I kinds miss having bangs. Thinking of cutting my fringe to become bangs once again. Side fringe makes my forehead looks oily. Don't cha think? But side fringe is so freaking easy to maintain. No hassle at all. I have no need to blow dry it before I go to sleep and I can just push it to the side when its disturbing me. Its just so different with bangs. You really have to kinda take care of it? Must blow dry hair everyday:( My hair condition is getting really ridiculous. I have a feeling its due to my ever growing mane. My hair is coming to a length where its going to touch my bottom any time. I don't want to look like a filipino maid or something who has to wash their hair along the river or something.

Sometimes I have this thought of just chopping of this mane and just have short hair for a change. But I know I'll miss my hair. It took me so long to actually keep it into this length. To just chop it off.... I still need to think about it.
